Rothenberger - Long adapter for ROPUMP Super Plus - 72071

Features of the Long Adapter for ROPUMP Super Plus

The long adapter for ROPUMP Super Plus (item number 72071) is an essential accessory designed by Rothenberger to extend the capabilities of your ROPUMP Super Plus pump unblocker. This specific component allows you to reach obstructions in hard-to-access areas of plumbing systems, significantly increasing the versatility of the main tool. Made from high-quality materials, the adapter ensures durability and resistance even under intensive use.

Technical Specifications

The 72071 long adapter has been designed with optimized dimensions to perfectly fit Rothenberger's ROPUMP Super Plus system. Its extended length allows it to reach points up to 15-20 cm further than using the standard unblocker alone. The adapter's diameter is calibrated to maintain optimal pressure during the unblocking operation, ensuring that the force generated by the pump is effectively transferred to the point of obstruction.

Practical Applications

This long adapter is used in numerous situations where it is necessary to work on clogged pipes that are difficult to reach with standard equipment. It is particularly useful for:

• Sink drains with deep traps or complex configurations
• Toilets with non-linear drainage paths
• Bathtubs with overflow systems
• Showers with recessed drain sumps
• Pipes with bends or angles that require extended access

Operational Advantages

Using the 72071 long adapter offers several concrete benefits to professional operators and home users:

• Greater flexibility of intervention in confined spaces or complex configurations
• Reduced working times due to the ability to directly reach the point of obstruction
• Less need to dismantle system components to access pipes
• Perfect compatibility with the ROPUMP Super Plus system, with no need for further adaptations
• Easy assembly and disassembly for quick alternation between different configurations

Installation and Use

The long adapter is easily installed on the main body of the ROPUMP Super Plus. Simply remove the standard adapter and screw on the long one in its place, ensuring that the connection is secure to avoid pressure loss during use. Once installed, the operator can proceed normally with the pumping action, benefiting from the additional extension to reach more distant points in the system.

Maintenance and Storage

Like all Rothenberger accessories, the long adapter also requires minimal maintenance to ensure its longevity. After each use, it is advisable to rinse it thoroughly with clean water to remove any dirt or debris that could compromise the seals or threads. The adapter can be stored together with the ROPUMP Super Plus in its original case, protecting it from accidental impacts and keeping it always ready for use in plumbing emergencies.
