INFICON improves the performance of combustible gas detectors with the new generation GAS-Mate tools. These units are ideal for locating leaks in combustion systems (such as natural gas or LPG-powered heating systems), gas valves, regulators, and gas pipelines.
GAS-Mate offers double the sensitivity of other equipment on the market: 5 ppm of methane, the main component of natural gas. GAS-Mate can detect many other combustible gases, such as tracer gas, ammonia, propane, ethanol, and hydrogen sulfide.
The GAS-Mate sensor, even when replaced, does not require any calibration. Just turn on the instrument and let it warm up for a few seconds, after which it is ready to quickly detect the presence of any gas leaks.
