Do you need to detect a "special leak" that a gas detector, the classic bubble test or a contrast liquid system cannot solve? Whisper is ideal for detecting and locating ultrasonic frequencies generated in the following contexts:
• leaks of any gas under pressure or vacuum
• electrical arc
• worn bearings and machinery
• anomalies in condensate traps
• leaks from gaskets
• Calibration certificate included

The detector is equipped with a special integrated receiver that detects frequencies around 40.5 kHz. Through a sophisticated system, Whisper identifies the source of ultrasounds and, thanks to an adjustment system, eliminates disturbances caused by external noises. This makes Whisper a versatile solution that can also be used in noisy environments, such as technical rooms.

Whisper integrates a heterodyne function that converts the main ultrasonic frequencies into a range audible to the human ear. It is thus possible to identify variations to easily locate the source of ultrasounds. The heterodyne output is activated when headphones (included) are connected to the detector. Sensitivity is adjusted through an innovative "touch pad" keyboard.

Various LEDs and an audible alarm register the leak when heterodyne mode is not enabled.

To achieve maximum performance, Whisper is supported by an accessory package. Together with the detector, the kit offers various optional elements that allow for greater versatility. A contact probe for checking the operation of machinery. Simply insert the metal probe into the instrument and touch: bearing housings, solenoid valves, pistons and other mechanical equipment to allow frequencies to reach Whisper's ultrasonic transducer. Unlike malfunctioning machinery, properly functioning machinery emits a homogeneous and clean sound.

Use the transmitter to check the seal of gaskets around an enclosed space, including doors, windows, ducts and refrigerated containers. Simply turn on the transmitter to generate the ultrasonic tone and place it in the area where you want to perform the leak test. Check potentially critical areas with Whisper to look for poorly sealed areas.

The transmitter and contact probe, as well as high-quality headphones, are included in the accessory package. All elements can also be purchased separately and used with the standard package
